Books to Movies

The Book: Percy Jackson and the Lightning Theif is a book about a kid who is a demigod, a demigod is a person that has a mother or father that is a god and a mother or father that is not a god. His life gets really strange so he runs to a camp for demigods. It was a great book. With wonderfull charecters and a phenominal plot. Many twists and turns the book was definaly a page turner. In the book there was first-rate descriptions. I would recamomend the book and the rest of the series to any one looking for a pretty easy to read book thats insanly good. The Movie: I thought the movie for Percy Jackson and the Lightning Theif was down right terable. It cut out lots of key or great parts in the book. In the movie they killed off the main bad guy for the rest of the books. Every thing was so confusing in the movie. The movie was the worst movie I have every saw in my entire life.

Hunger Games book
The Hunger Games was a great book with a phenomenal plot. My favorite character is Thresh because he is really cool.  Thresh is super tough but inside has a heart.  He has a minor role, so I would have liked to know more about him and his experience before and during the games.  I wish he had won. 


The main characters, Katniss and Peeta come from District 12, the coal mjning district.  I was surprised by how low-tech district 12 was very compared to the capital. Because in this future world, technology has really advanced.  I loved the book and I would recommend it to anyone 5th grade and up.   This book is a page turner with great characters and the best plot but with a lot of violence and death.  I thought that the concept of kids fighting against other kids was wrong and disgusting.   If I were in the Hunger Games I would not do to well, because I am not a natural fighter.


Hunger Games movie 
After reading the book, I saw the Hunger Games movie and was so relieved that no bad movie starts, like Taylor Swift or Zac Efron were cast.  That would have really ruined it for me.  To see the people and the places and the events of the movie was just as I imagined it, spectacular!  I thought the movie had some great new parts but definitely left out some important parts of the book.   The movie is a must-see for people 10 and up.

Puppy's and books

A week a go I got a puppy it has been fun but a lot of time with out sleep. The dog we got is a girl and its name is bailey she is really fun but she barks a ton so we have decided to find a spot where we can not here her barks at night. Also we have had some trouble potty training her. I do not think bailey is quit getting the concept yet. She is a blast.

Now on to books I am currently reading a great book called the uglies. It has a great concept about when you turn 18 the government gives you plastic surgery so you are perfect. It is a real page turner I would recommend it to any one.

Books and football

First football yesterday was a weird day for football Brandon Lloyd went to the Chicago Bears, which will finally give the Bears a chance to win the super bowl. Also the broncos got Payton manning and traded Tim Tebow to he Jets and the coach of he Saints got suspended for the full season for breaking the rules and paying players to injure Quarter backs.
Now to books right now In english I am reading Haroun and the Sea of Stories. It is really good. Right now I am at the part where Haroun finds the genie. It is a great page turner. It is like nothing I have every read before. I would recommend it to any one who has not read it.

Puppy and books

Today was one of the greatest days of my life, because I am getting to choose a dog. I have wanted one ever since I knew what one was. I am so happy. What sucked was that we had to wake up at six in the morning to get there at nine forty five because it was such a long drive. Believe it or not, the long car ride was not boring. It made me nervous because I thought what if I pick a bad dog for me? But in the end I knew that this was awesome because in just two weeks. We are going to name her Bailey and bring her home. I cannot wait.

When we went to pick, they brought out each puppy one at a time. We asked for the blue ribbon pup first, because in photograghs, blue was the prettiest. But blue hid the corner shaking and so we thought she was way too docile for us. After meeting each dog individually, we asked to see them all together. The green and yellow ribbon pups became obvious favorites because they were very playful and social. Then we had a long period of time where we did not know which one to choose. Both pups were circling around us, climbing in our laps and tryin us. And they did. Bwe wanted both in the end choose yellow because green had too mant curls. It was a fun and nerve-wracking day and I cannot wait until Bailey comes home in two weeks.

Speaking of being selected, the book I am reading is Hunger Games. It is so good. The book starts out with humans being picked for a television where they have to kill their opponents. It has phenomenal characters like Katniss and Gale, who are so tough. As teenagers, they hold up their whole families. The plot is great. it is very page turning. Right now in the book the Hunger Games hve not started yet but they are about to. Stay tuned.

mexico trip on break

           I had a lot of fun in mexico los Cabos.  One of the things I did was I went parasailing it was really really entertaining. But at the same time it was extremely scary because what if you your harnest broken and you fell into the ocean. It is like flying in the air. You have such a great view and you can see so far. I felt it was something ever one should do because it is so exhilarating.
           I also went and drove an ATV you would think it is like driving. But it is not because your car is open and dirt is flinging in your face and the sun is in your eyes and you have these big googles on and a helmet and a bandana covering your mouth and worst of all no protection. It was a ton of fun but when we went to the top of a cliff you could drive over the edge. I felt as if we were on the top of a ten story building. The scary part was that there were memorials on the cliff of people who drove over the edge . I thought the fact I could was die was utmost freaky. But besides that it was enjoyable. 
           At are hotel the one&only palmilla the beach is awesome and the pool is fantastic. The pool was so warm. And there was an great hot tub. It was a blast the beach it was one of the best things on the trip because of the sun and the view. My trip was phenomenal I hope your break was good to .

my heroes

This blog I will be talking about my heroes in life. I will being talking about my heros because I have thought about what they would do because of the hard day I had today.I will start the list with star bears running back Gale Sayers . He is won of my heroes because he was just phenomenal as a running back . He helped out his friend brian piccolo threw cancer which brain later died of he was full back of the bears . Which is very nice and great. Gale also made the hall of fame. My next hero is Dave Grohl he is the lead singer of my favorite band the foo fighters. I love his voice and I want to be like him when I grow up. Jim Mcmahon is another one of my heroes. Because of his phenomenal quater back skills. And that he led the bears to the super bowl and won it for chicago. He is awesome. My next hero is Kanye West. Because of his great music. He is one of my favorite rappers. And his music is so good.  Fergie Jenkins is another hero of mine because he was just such a good pitcher and he was always one of my favorite cubs players. And he is really cool. My next hero is Michael Jordan because he led the bulls to 6 champions ships . And he was the greatest basketball player of all time . He was so good . Thats why I love him. My next hero is Eminem because his music is so good . And he is really cool and he is my favorite rapper . My final and favorite hero is my parents. Because they are the best parents in the world. They always have been there for me when I have needed some one . Also have gaven me a phenomenal life style. And they both manage to have great jobs and have lived great lives and have both been the best any one could be as parents. And have always set my in the right path.I love them so much and I hope they have many more great times with me and Andy. Those are my heros.
